Visitors Centre

When visiting Injune do drop into our accredited Visitor Information Centre.
You will be glad that you did.

Finding the Visitor Information Centre is easy as its it’s located right on the main highway in the middle of town. The building is one of Injune’s newer icons, close to shopping and the local Library is in the same complex. The log cabin style centre is surrounded by a spacious park area where there is a playground for children, a water fountain to fill your water bottles and an amenities block to the rear.

There is plenty of parking at the rear of the complex.

Do pop in for a complementary cup of tea or coffee and relax on the veranda.  Have a browse through the centre where we have many original local works of art on display, souvenirs and a book shop. It’s a great opportunity not to be missed. Enjoy a chat with our friendly volunteers who keep the doors open seven days a week, excluding some public holidays.

Our volunteers love helping to make your trip a more enjoyable one by assisting with answers to your questions. Our volunteers are knowledgeable about our unique area in southern central Queensland.

Our helpful Tourism Administrative Officer, is also there to help you with information and to make your travelling an even more pleasurable experience.
